What do you think are the 5 most important things in a game? What do you think are the 5 least important things in a game?

  1. [Robert] they would be fun , uniqueness , theme , idea and gameplay and plot. But some of the least important things are unfunness and anything having to do with not having fun.

  2. [Vincent] The 5 most important things in any video game, are 1. a good and well rounded character, 2. a planned out and well thought storyline and plot, 3. some classical comedy moments, and 4. extensive game play, and finally 5. the all around loved evil do-er/bad guy/ antagonist.
The 5 least important things are 1. extras(background characters) 2. animals that have nothing to do with the main story, 3. buildings you cannot enter, 4. spontaneous respawns, and 5. random characters popping out and scaring the heck outta ya.

I think that five important things to a game are the gameplay (whether the controls are hard to use or not), the storyline, graphics, that the game keeps moving and wont get too repetitive, the last thing is that it would have to be over, and that it should be a challenge. The character selection isn't that important unless the game is an RPG, the supporting characters are kind important but not as important as the five things. I cant really think of anything else as being unimportant, all of the things about a game can be really important or not important depending on the type of game.

The 5 most important things in a video game is a good story line that is suspenseful, cool characters, good graphics, is challenging and fun, and having cool weapons. The 5 least important things in a game is the characters around you having a part in the story line, comedy in the game, a lot of dialog, making the game easy, and i cant think of another.
